The wife went experimental today and turned this recipe for fried lentil balls with red cabbage salad

with this effort:

into this:

taste-wise, it was awful.

so we decided to visit the local greek takeout:

and had a Gyros Pita with fries instead:

well.

Hah! I thought that a good Halloween "costume" for my Firestorm would have been a big devil's tail curling up over the roof, but didn't have time to deal with it, nor a real interest.

It was either that or PlastiDip the fangs in the front white and add a black cape for a little vampire action.

Those recipes always turn out to be a massive letdown when you're trying it yourself. Shouldn't have posted those pictures of the gyros pita, now i'm hungry...

This is the best road I've ever driven on. I just wish it was in something better the a Seat Leon.

Mind you that's the top of the mountain. The middle is VERY steep. On the way back down the mountain we ended up in a section that was quit narrow, and of course we came across a bus going the other way. He was on the inside. He pulled over until his mirror was scraping cliff and waited for me to pass. My drivers side mirror was scraping the side of the bus and I could feel my passenger side tires leaving the pavement. Where the pavement ended, so did everything else. Obviously we made it, but that was the single scariest thing I've done behind the wheel.
