Yes, BMWCCA offers both, and they welcome all cars. Find your local chapter and join through them.

The BMWCCA Care Control Clinics are fun, I just partifipated in one last month in Marina (near Monterrey), and you can then move onto track events, they are going to Thunderhill this month. They also have autocross. My BRZ was the first they had seen at their CCC, and a good portion of the instructors took turns to check out what the BRZ could do.
Highly recommended but you run the risk of getting hooked on doing more events! You should look to sign-up when the events start again this spring.

Sounds like Car Control Clinics should be at the top of everyone's to do list.

Haha yeah I've recommended it a bunch of times on here. You learn a lot while having a blast, and they're great prep for autox, the track and every day driving. One of the exercises involves learning how to safely swerve to avoid a collision (they use cones, but they tell you to imagine it's a toddler :yike: )

Extreme Speed has a Car Control Clinic and Drift event on 11/24 at Willowsprings. They can hook you up with a top notch instructor. I've done it before, and it's tons of fun. It's not autoX in any way. It's more like drifting. It's really fun, but it's way better to learn with an instructor on the small track first.

How did the SV track day go? Any pics? I was hoping to come out for the day but my wife and I were both down sick.

Hey guys-
I've never run with Extreme Speed before (only Speed Ventures and Redline). Speed Ventures required 8" numbers, but I can't find any number requirements from Extreme Speed.

Do you guys know if Extreme Speed requires numbers? I can't find my magnetic numbers, so I'm going to have to order some more...or bring painters tape if necessary.

Thanks!

ExtremeSpeed has no number requirements. See you out there.
