True, I cant wait for you guys to set the bar again. Im assuming this car will only need around 525rwhp to go 9's

That's a guess that will be a lot harder to figure out. The reason I say that is, I don't think it'll have a problem getting enough power to push the car that fast at this point, but it's more or less going to have issues with dialing in the suspension and getting the rest of the car sorted for that kind of power.

As long as people stop being such babys about putting wide tires on this car it should hook up fine.

Question,....The FRS/BRZ has a carrier type bearing two part drive shaft for NVH,...I know Mustangs do also and I'm pretty sure its why top speeds are limited on the Stang and why they went to a one piece carbon fiber unit for the 13 Cobra which has no speed limiter,....at what point is AP going to switch to a one piece drive shaft and ditch the POS driveshaft that comes stock? Drive shaft mishaps aren't pretty. Or has that mod been made?

Why do you think the driveshaft is a POS, when all other data/test indicate otherwise?

Well stock horsepower numbers its fine,.....but at the horsepower numbers they are reaching it becomes a POS and a liability.

I am unaware of any reports from the turbo shops on here of having broken an FR-S/BRZ driveshaft. Even from the low 11sec 1/4 mile passes at the track. Who has had issues?

Not a fan of two piece drive shafts for NVH,...my question was more focused to AP not you but your intitled to your opinion,...seeing if they are planning to upgrade it before they up the boost more,....and yah its a safety concern at some point. The tranny blowing or diff. shelling itself is no big deal. Driveshafts are a little different,..... Guess I should just call them and find out instead of posting on here.

That's why I was asking who has had issues. AP is pushing 550whp. How much are you planning to run to be concerned with the driveshaft?

And also... how does a driveshaft become a Point Of Sale?
