Thanks, It was my idea not the Dealers, he'd contacted all his customers on the 'wait list' but none wanted the colour, so at least a positive for one of the forum guys and that makes me feel good inside!

Difference could be dependent on what State you are, I didn't check to see whether you were both Victoria - I believe [and could be wrong!] that Brisbane is first offload, then Port Kembla then Melbourne

EDIT: misunderstood your question... your car is a 2012 November build, not a 2013 build.

If pickup is early Jan then build would have been early Dec so it's a 2012 compliance.

maybe 'roaded' from Melbourne to Adelaide? Ring Patricks, they are the company that Toyota has for all vehicle transportation, they can answer whether the ship docks in Adelaide or whether they are unloaded in Melbourne

It might sound strange but I think you may find that Queensland leads the Country in new vehicle sales - I know that Scifleet Toyota up here is Australia's largest Individual Dealership based on sales and Toyota's 15th largest world-wide! I would have been number 90+ on their list had I ordered there, I went in the Friday of the reelease to test drive and I believe they had 90+ orders by then

Incidently, considering the 'carsguide' article about the 1500 additonal 86's and the 'wait time' for GT and GTS models I don't believe that will do a thing to ease the backlog and funny .. NOT ONE dealer I have spoken to seemed to know about it - seems like typical 'spin' from Sales & Marketing!!

To now tell prospective buyers '6 weeks for a GT and 4 months fr a GTS - RUBBISH!! A lady I work with has a GTS auto on order since first week of July and still being told 18 months plus

Or am I wrong? that's happened before!!

Have no idea ! We can only hope that Subaru are doing the best they can to resolve all issues quickly. Last time I heard the idle issue has been resolved.

I checked my tracking today, I now have a "Latest estimated pickup date" of 03/01/13.

Would I likely get it earlier than this date? I was hoping for before Christmas.

I ordered mine June 27th here. 586XXX. Still no planned production date
