You won't get the updated tune unless you fill out the form, and shouldn't flash anything but stock or newest version... and then only on a fresh ProECU update. There was another issue on Ecutek's end so there aren't general updates going out right now, per request only. Should change soon, no ECU lock ups yet on new one.

Edit: New update may have been capped at 10 for testing? Can't remember now, it's all here though. I didn't soak it all in while it was going on, was just running the stock ROM and waiting it out.

If I had the time I would love to start a wiki page that has the following

Full instructions of all features
Video walk throughs of install, flashing and features
Release notes of each version
Version status , supported vs discontinued support
Flash status ok to flash vs don't flash
Current Ecutek version
Formatting of the flash filenames
Faq's
Order forms
Contact info

Wiki format would be nice so that we could all help answer questions but stay away from some of our other conversations. Anyone have the time or knowledge to do this?

With the newest flash/racerom. From a complete stop with the car in neutral and the car on any map 2 or higher....

Clutch in to the floor, shift to first, push the gas all the way in. Floor it 100% or it wont work.

If the needle goes above 4k lift before you hit the limiter and try again.

Thanks! But is it unsafe for the car to run the 10826 file? Should I reflash to stock while we are waiting for a finished product from this supplier?

If you've already installed it, it's safe. If you install it it can lock up your ecu in a very very bad way. As John said, every time you run the install with that map, you're rolling the dice.

Yup, if it's on the car already you're good. No worries.

I flashed back to stock, as I have an appointment for the dealer to check the fuel pump for the 'chirp', as well as the rattling/fluttering sound coming from the rear.

Filled out the form; looking forward to a tune I can put on the car.

John I have emailed you a few times regarding my tune file not being customized to my car (this all stemmed from me filling out the form, then you sending me the files and telling me to let you know if I have had any problems) We fixed the license issue and I am now good to flash but I got the not customized to car error and naturally can't go any further.

I emailed you a screen shot (on monday night I believe) so you can read the exact error. Hope that helps

I'd loan you one of my tunes if I could

I'm sure he's tuning the hurricane for more power.
