Thanks guys!
i went with the Toyo GSi-5 tires in 205/55r16, the rims were like the cheapest 16" alloys TG had. cant remember the make/model off the top of my head... ill look it up when i get home. not a 'cheap' setup but i figured why not. i priced out some stuff from tirerack etc etc and it would have saved maybe $200 but the extra work was not worth the savings to me. |

I'm glad you got the mud flaps, make sure they were installed correctly. One of mine wasn't. Are you going to undercoat? |

Norman,
Resonator tubes chnage the sound basically. Race, Modded sound and a quieter one than standard. Ref. my question pg 21. I currently have Sparco Assetto Gara's for winter. I went down to 16s to cut the cost. Also I have a Sony XNV-660 NAV wired up properly to the dash usb and aux input. I also have run the built in cabin mic to replace the stock one and done some other fancy wiring to bypass certain locked out features. The system also supports reverse cam but I haven't got one yet. Actually I think I will get one shortly... reversing into the garage last night was a nightmare... didn't want the kiddies to touch the car... http://store.sony.ca/webapp/wcs/stor...52921666269908 BTW I noticed today you can now order a FRS with a TRD exhaust... I'm jealos. I'd prefer a factory one becuase I had an MBRP for my first Focus and it was 96+dB and really annoying.... |

Last weekend I went out to the BMW Street Survival at Calabogie Motorsports park in the car and spun it 5-6 times on the Autocross and the Skid pad. We even took a few laps on the track at lunch. Props to the Bimmer club Ottawa and T.O. for that. I'll post pics when they release them.

so i am going to need a fill up later tonight/tomorrow morning before a bit of a road trip.
what gas in the west end is everyone happy with? i know there are lots of threads about best gas but many dont talk specifically about us here in ottawa. also seeing as so many of us seem to be in the west end i was wondering what peoples favourites are. Thanks! |

Shell 91 is the best IMO - no ethynol = no chirping
as a second option - PetroCan 94 |
