John, re E85 cold start fix map. Leaving work this AM was 39* and took two tries but started just as normal on the second try, no sputtering at all etc (push button start). Couldn't do a log but will tomorrow am with video. Seems to fare better in this temp range than it does in upper 40*s. Subjective without logs I know, but was hands down a cleaner start when a bit colder out on the current map.

ahh, i wasn't having much luck with that one here, low of 38 was taking quite a bit more than the 2 starts it took you. i'll be trying out b14 late tonight/early tomorrow, but then i'm out of e85 for a couple weeks.

I really missed it when the weather got colder and switched back over, but will still prob run gas most of the winter. Still have 3/4 tank of E85 for testing.. so at least a week. Hopefully we'll see some good results--sure John will get it nailed down.

I'm making the woman drive to dinner tonight so the BRZ can continue to cool down for a cold start test. Coolant temp at 32c right now, going to let it sit until midnight, should be about 40f outside then and see what happens, then again at 6:30am.

Alright I am having this same issue as well, I was wondering if anyone has solved this yet?
If anyone could enlighten me as how I am supposed to read the fuel% while on map 4.
Is it supposed to be located under the mpg or the avg mpg (I see numbers that bounce between 85-95 while on the mpg screen, is this the fuel level just bouncing around because the gas sloshes around while driving?)
Also is the fuel level supposed to show up while the car is not moving? same goes for the air/fuel on map 3.
Any information would be greatly appreciated as this is not a highly covered topic and not much info on this.

This is the tune I am running

Thanks

Thanks very much John!!

It Seems like everything is working correctly except when my car is stationary the mpg screen shows --- no matter what map I am on, any suggestions? Also When I flashed my latest tune file was I supposed to flash back to stock before I flashed the update or does it matter?

Does anyone know if the E85 tune would meet emmision standards for Low-emitting vehicle (LEV) or Ultra-low-emitting vehicle or Inherently-low-emitting vehicle (ULEV or ILEV)?

That's just how it works. The stock mpg gauge does the same thing.

I have about 2 hours of work and you'll have a file
Still waiting on my group buy cable/dongle kit - purchased 8/22, emailed 10/14 and then was told it was going into the mail 10/15. I'd rather not post more specific details here but let me know if you need the paypal transaction numbers again.

If your oem fuel gauge is not working, disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes. This has worked for a few who also had that problem.
