Seems to me they asked him to "leak" the information. Or at the very least don't mind him telling.

Why are you even here if you don't want to hear people talk about what they are doing, or not doing, with their cars? That's what forums are for.

I, for one, appreciate people giving as much information as possible.

My brothers got Perrin exhaust/tune and other various bits and pieces all over his 09 STI. They seem like pretty high quality products, i'm excited to see what all these engine goodies give us. A 250whp NA in an FRS/BRZ would be pretty damn awesome, and that should be within the realm of possibilities.

Sharing is one thing, I myself am waiting on Perrin parts, but buddy comes across as a brown noser with knee pads ready to blow Perrin 24/7 and it comes across as annoying.

I don't think Perrin asked him to leak anything. There's nothing to leak, these parts where going to be coming out regardless of who made them. My first reaction was can this guy just shut up and get to the point. Now all I really care about is that those parts actually make power.

I don't think ANYONE WONDERS why you are a Perrin Fan Boi.

It's obvious. They sell you parts sooner, cheaper, and give you free stuff.

Everyone has a price.

You all seem to think he is on their payroll or something. He likes their parts. Maybe he gets deals for talking about them. Maybe he doesn't. We don't know for sure. Maybe he just believes in what Perrin does. And for people to say they don't want great tuning parts from a great company just because one guys over-hype on a forum is just asinine.

Here's an idea. Don't read his posts.

I will buy these if they add power. That's all I care about. Thanks for the teaser! I'm baffled as to why anyone gives a crap or complains about who advertises, posts, whatever... just wow!

gmookher comes off as a d-bag, smart ass, etc... But who cares??? Let it be, you don't have to like him. Its as easy as ignoring him. He's doing harm to no one.

We know for sure he gets products before they are released to the public because he will post several times about them and seems very biased and exaggerated. This is in contrast to the product information and testing Perrin posts which tends to be detailed facts from testing. The point being that if you have a product that will sell well based off proven results you may not need a snake oil salesman flogging it.

Or instead you guys could just assume he's an enthusiast, that is excited about his car, and new parts for it. Like most of this forum used to be....
