If they have league racing, do that. I used to work at a really small Kart track, which was frequented somewhat by the NASCAR teams. The track design didn't really favor someone who was lighter weight (if you were doing pure time trials it did though). My brother in-law, who easily out weighed me by well over 125 lbs, beat me regularly in races.

I have similar sentiments. Can take them handily up to the straight away and that damn 12 year old eviscerates my lead in a matter of moments.
