Hmmmm seems like we will lose the bars that go from the struts to the firewall.

If you guys watch the video, you'll see that:
  1. They are using the stock airbox
  2. The strut bars remain
!

On a second note...

I dont know much about F.I. but looking at the s/c and the AVO design has got me wondering what would happen if both were combined. It would be possible to fit both under the hood?

air->stock intake->avo turbo->fmic->innovate sc->air/water cooler plate->engine

you know.. for sh1ts and giggles

it would be possible i think. you'd want the intercooled supercharger kit to keep AITs down. so you might have to run a custom pipe through a A2w intercooler before the supercharger so that you could allow cool airflow to the heat exchanger. epic throttle response and power.

It's just not very effecient.

When the turbo spooled up you'd loose most of the beneifits of the SC. It would be much better to do a good twin turbo with smaller blowers..

CAN it be done? In theroy yes.. Its not really CAN it be done.. its more.. WHY would it be done?

lol.

I like the twin screw setup. I personally am looking for the neighborhood of 400 crank hp. Not sure if a SC will get there, but I have seen several of these units get over 350whp. I would like to see this in action, and the sound...

230% HP is a lot for any system.
SC could do it but prolly not this SC. Needs more volume for that.

This looks like an ideal option for me. I'm looking for < 300 HP. The clutch is the only supportive mod I plan to make.

the charger in this kit wont push that kind power, too small. 260-280whp maybe. you'd need the bigger sprintex or an eaton R1320tvs to double stock whp.
