Not yet, it started to get dark outside so I decided to finish tomorrow. To drill or not to drill? Not sure yet or at least figure out a way to cover the holes.

Ok thanks! That's what I thought, so basically drill the hole just big enough for the push pins to lock into the hole

Yeah dont drill hole for that little thing. It probably does nothing. Just cut it up and cover the holes

Yeah if I drill holes I might as well put bolts in, that way it'll be worth it so Im leaning towards just covering the holes like you're saying. |

I installed mine earlier this week. The industrial grade 3M tape should be more than sufficient to hold this piece in place. Properly prepping the contact surface of the spoiler with a degreaser (like alcohol) will ensure full adhesion. I chopped the pins so that they are tall enough to bite and lock into the thickness of the rubber flap but short enough to clear the stock spoiler. It's a better finish than just leaving the holes exposed (where dirt would otherwise collect).
Edit: This is the same rubber material and 3M tape used on the rubber skirt flap that attaches to the STI front lip and I didn't even drill that in either; it's staying on with just 3M tape and has scraped against pavement a few times a month, withstood 80mph 1+ hrs freeway driving head on, car washes/rain, and it's still on there strong.

I got mine on Friday and I have no idea how to properly install it since the included instructions are in Japanese. Do you have to remove the spoiler from the trunk lid and take it apart? Any trimming? I need help translating the instructions or some installation pics please.
