k-idols do a lot better job of being sexy and being cool. j-idols only do cute. too many acts like AKB.

Yea. Although the lyrics in k-pop/k-rock is kind of... straight forward and sometimes extremely repetitive. Lol Then again.. that goes to a lot of music in the Western Culture too.

I've yet to find a Japanese band that has impressed me. Scandal was closest (but still far off), just because they aren't 'normal' J-pop.

Probably more to do with me getting old... ("When I was your age music was good...") Heh.

But pop music makes me want to smash my head into a wall. J/K-pop makes me want to shoot myself in the head... Or drown myself in sugar. Or maybe Splenda or one of those artificial super-sweeteners that are even sweeter than sugar, but made in a lab. Yeah, maybe that one.
