No offense, but for an extra $100-$200 I might as well just buy a catback system.

I REALLY like the sound and function over form of this system, but I would not pay a dime over $300 for pipe.

Thanks for the update, Dan. I couldn't wait that long, so I just went ahead and ordered pretty much all the LEDs you offer for this car.

Looks good to me! I like that you're going with larger exhaust tips...that was the one thing that had me on the fence about the single pipe piece. I'd be in for $400...have to pay more for good quality parts - just how it is.

I completely understand that it can't be produced for much less. Materials cost what they do, the parts themselves take time to produce, and a profit would probably be appreciated on your end

The problem [to me at least] with a part like this is, the only REAL difference between it, and a simple trackpipe is visual. In a perfect world, I'd absolutely be buying your part. I love the way it looks, and it sounded fantastic on that BRZ. But when you're on a tight budget, and $300 stands between you and a purely aesthetic difference, you go with what let's you eat lunch the next day

I think we're on the same page. For that reason, we've got the less-expensive, single-sided, no-tip (but also no-burn-your-bumper-off) option.



This way, we've got two options: One for min weight/min cost, one for a little higher cost (and marginally more weight), but a more finished appearance.

Here's a question, how about a non-tipped dual exit? Would that offset any of the cost? I know tips can be a pricey part of the equation, maybe a good medium between the two?

Yep, that would be much less expensive. Long term, we may do it -- I don't like to have too many manufacturing irons in the fire at a time, though, so for now the one with tips is the priority.
