Expecting to receive my black FR-S at the end of next month!

Will be my DD so I want to get it coated asap with all the salt and crap all over the roads we have in fall.
I had mine done by Ken at www.autowerkesexclusivestore.ca. He's out in Maple Ridge. But very accomadating as far as scheduling goes. Calling him is the best way to contact him.

Hi I'm new to the forum but got my car in June. I just installed Continental Extreme Winter Contacts and so far so good. Very quiet and been handling very well in the rain an on dry roads.

I got myself the Perrin pulley and I will say it is noticeable but it isn't a power adding mod. Just for a better feel. It also matters if you got a auto or manual. jmah88 has one in his auto but says its not as noticeable, in my manual I can tell the revs go faster.

I actually have a Perrin Pulley (black) for sale BNIB. Asking $100 but if someone local wants it I will part with it for $80. PM me if interested.

On steelies? I was looking into these but not sure if the kind of winter we get these would be worth it or not

They're on the OEM wheels. I plan to get new ones for summer. Since this is my only car I plan to drive it up to Whistler for skiing. They're prob overkill if you just use it for the city. Reviews on them have been good overall.

Autowerkes is worth the drive. I've been out there many times to pick up supplies, and seen some of the work Ken works on.

Undercoating?

So I just put my deposit down and got approved for everything and just waiting for my FR-S to arrive and finalize all the paperwork.

The dealership tried to sell me an undercoating protection for the car. Do you guys think it's necessary...even in the winter? None of my cars have ever had it before, but just curious what you guys think?

Our cars do come with a layer of these from factory, but only in some spots...

Although it is not necessary; I went ahead and took the bait as my car is going to be my daily and that means it will be driven in winter as well.
I got the whole undercarriage undercoated and they did a pretty good job. (It also acts as sound deadening!)

The price is a little steep for what it is, but oh well; it will be fully warrantied/valid for respray for as long as the car's life.
