Do you know when they plan on releasing kit? Also pricing for the quicker spooling turbo. The car to me is so light that I dont need 400 whp anything over 300 -350 and some torque down low is all I need:happy0180:

total lack of knowledge, played with nos back in day, never supercharger.
I want something just in the final range of 250hp. I didnt buy a mustang since it was to much power. How much is this going to affect the fun of the car, to be able to rev it and run it hard. Seems like 300hp would huge and scary as crap unless you guys are tracking. Can you disengage the charger at will or simple wrenching without yanking ? What is the affected percentage on the the gas mileage.

I'll try to answer your questions as best I can. But, this is thread is for a turbocharger not a supercharger.
1. In my opinion it will make the car a lot more fun to drive. You'll still be able to rev it just as high. As for running it as hard, that will depend on how much boost you run. With the power range you're looking for, I think you'll be able to run it pretty hard.
2. You don't "disengage" the turbo insomuch as like flipping a switch. It's based on RPMs of the engine. The more gas you give it, the RPMs rise, the turbo spools. You may want to research how a turbo works to get more in-depth on this.
3. This depends on how much you enjoy spirited driving. If you don't spool the turbo much (i.e. higher revving, fun driving), then MPGs won't be affected much.

I tried being simple, because it seems that's what you're looking for in answers. However, please do some more research on how turbochargers and superchargers work before you get too involved with them.

Amusing idea to entertain, how to rig a turbo disable switch on the dash?

So let's say you have a reliable source of pressurized air at say 12psi, maybe from a co2 cartridge, maybe a little portable air compressor with a small tank. So the switch operates a solenoid valve that cuts off flow from the boost reference to the wastegate actuator, and connects the wastegate actuator to the pressure source.

Turbo disabled

Most folks just control the acceleration with their right foot.

Our FRS is up and running smoothly, completely stock fuel system and exhaust, were pushing to 5-6psi with a very conservative tune via ECUtek. This is how our base stage1 kit will be sold with an approx 100hp increase. Dyno charts soon to come! 6258 Borg Warner EFR turbo is spooling up around 3000rpm, and the response is awesom!

Next up are 700cc deatswerks injectors, 265lph fuel pump, cast less 3" exhaust all the way back! This will be stage 2 kit ran at approx 9psi

stage 3 kits will provide maps for E85 and racegass.

Also included are all the Racerom features ECUtek has to offer!

stay tuned!

Saw you guys 2 years ago at Sema, and i think PRI last year(not 100% positive tough)

We had spoken about you're sr20 manifold.

We need to talk over again since i want to distribute a turbo kit for the fr-s and love the quality/price of you're build.
