People who drive like assholes piss me off too, but calling someone you have never met a "douchebag old man" on a public forum is a little much. Let's try and keep it friendly in here!
1. No, the car doesn't matter. But there have been enormous amounts of people driving like idiots thinking they're a hotshot since the release of this car. Same thing happened with the 350Z, S2000, etc.

2. Of course my tone is harsh, this guy swerved around me going pretty fast coming out of a 180 turn on-ramp. I was waving at him to slow down so I could chat and say that I liked his car. We have both have whiteout.

3. Enjoy your damn Scion 'racecar' elsewhere, like a track. This guy could likely end up in yet another thread that has a destroyed FR-S like we've seen so many times on this forum.

4. I understand you want it friendly in here but it's not always going to be friendly. Wanted to give a heads up. Just watch out for this guy, because he might just cut you off pretending to street race and send you or someone else into a wall.

Changed my original post to 'jerk'.

I work at a 5th gen Camaro shop, and most of the ones I've come up on are just cruising.

I upset an H3 driver when I went around them the other day. Of course they did get in a faster lane and didn't pick up speed. They had actually cut me off.

No matter how fast or slow I'm driving I always use my blinkers and try to maximize my space between vehicles. Slow lane changes if possible. Never take multiple lanes at once.

He was white, mid 30's, bald, with glasses. Watch out for him in the Tomball area.
Well it's definitely not me lol. I'm young and Indian. And have hair?

1. Same thing happens with all affordable sports cars always and I agree it's a problem
2. Understandable! I missed the part where you were on foot.
3. Agreed, keep it on the track.
4. Dully noted. "Jerk" is entirely warranted.

I just didn't want to drive anyone away from this budding young community. Also, I'm a bald white guy with glasses so I took it personally

No hard feelings! Also, I can't wait to see your turbo beast! Any chance you'll make it out to November C&C??

We're trying super hard to make it. If we do, Dave from D3 Performance will be coming with me and he is going to give you guys the best news in the world for Houston FR-S/BRZ tuning. Gonna solve all your problems.

Is he going to pay off all my taxes??? But you certainly have my attention and I'm not sure I want to wait for another Trump-esk type teaser. Any hint as to what the "best news in the world" is?

LOL. The hint involves tuning. Don't worry, you should likely have your answers by Nov Cars & Coffee or sooner.

Well, I will CERTAINLY make sure I'm there in November then. I wasn't able to make the October show. Although your car's transformation is very impressive, I don't think I'll be going to that extreme with mine. I'd just be happy with a little more HP, as most anyone would be. Hopefully, they've found an easy way to unleash a few more horses on this car that doesn't involve the turbo kit. The car is fun now, but could sure use a little more "standing start" power!

I'll give you a heads up before the show to let you know if we can make it or not. I may just tell them to make the car driveable even if it isn't perfect, just to make it.

Synack, just a heads up, as I used to work at HP, he probably thought you were a jerk, didn't understand what you were trying to do, or he was running late. The factory workers get lose out on pay when they are late, engineer are typically working 7-4, factory support works 8-5 or they work the same hours as factory day shift, and sales staff hours depend on their teritory. There's also the chance he is a sales person for a supplier, he works for an alliance partner, or a lone start student.

Sorry but you don't nearly run over people waving friendly at you.
