Mine doesn't chirp, but I do know what you're talking about. I have done just about everything you're not supposed to do to a new vehicle and I have not had one issue with it. I'm right at 4100 miles right now, my car was autocrossed at 200mi, and it did hit the rev limiter a few times during passes. It's under warranty, since Scion doesn't disclose a break in period, they'd have to fix it if something broke before warranty expiration. I've been working very closely with my District Scion Sales Manager about these cars and she has come to me about a few complaints.

Hell, the lady at the Subaru dealer, recommends her customers beat on WRXs and STis in their first 1000 miles because it allows the seals to get a stronger seal when the car is in boost.

Just a little FYI too, Scion Corporate is working on a car show at the VB Convention center mid November, going to be open to the public.

Im up for attending. I will be so happy when I can go through a drive-thru and not feel embarassed by the chirping.

I'll be posting up the exact details tomorrow. It's gonna be open to any kind of car, Scion is just sponsoring it. I will be there with a few Scions.

They were talking about having an FRS there for ride alongs, but I don't know if that will happen.

had an appointment today at 130 for the HPFP. about a hour later my rep came into the waiting room and said its going to take longer then they expected and asked if I wanted a rental. she said it might be done tonight, might not be and they might have to keep it till tomorrow. so I went home with this. at least it's not a prius

Did you have to pay for the rental?
