Got a call from my dealer yesterday, white GTS manual ordered 22 June, will finally be in the November build group.

He estimated that would translate to a pickup date in the 3rd week of January - anybody heard something similar/different?

Why would it take so long? Most people who've already got their car seem to get it the month after the production month.

christmas/new year shutdowns, if your car is built in the last week of November, there's no way you will get it in the first week of January.

Mine is scheduled for build on the 15th of November and I dont really expect to see it until mid January.

I'm thinking this too.

I'm hoping it comes in RIGHT on mid-Janurary, straight after I come back from my holiday.

The shut down is in Dec why would it effects cars being build in Nov? I can understand people with Dec production getting their car in Feb.

Also despite popular belief most countries in the Northern Hemisphere don't have long holidays over Xmas (as opposed to Aus) because it's the middle of winter!!!

Your dealer will be able to see the Planned Production Line off date after the status changed to A20 (Scheduled for Production)
