Just curious, can dealers look up what kind of allotment other dealers get, or any info at all on cars that are slated to end up at another dealership?

date bought : October 2
date arrived : October 18
date delivered : tomorrow 4pm... laze salesman who took time to prepare my car and install equipment....

car was ordered at first in june, and they never sold it before i came in

in quebec province yes... from what the salesman told me, every dealer can order 1 a month, so they always order one even if not sold, and they trade it when they arrive.

Damn I posted a lot in this thread. But yay! I just woke up to the best and worst call

Best=my dealer just called me telling me that my baby just arrived at port! And it will be coming this Friday!

Worst=I need another paycheck to help me out with stuff =(

LOL at the Canadian alottment for FRS increasing in November.

Great time to be delivering rwd sports cars when the country is covered in snow.

Just like the Veloster all over again... It'll be interesting to see what demand is like next year.

Date Promised: Oct 2012
Total days since order: 114 days (Dealer now says "Jan to Feb")

Ordered an SSM BRZ 6MT from Trento (now Subaru of Maple). Figured I'd get the car sooner as I thought SSM wouldn't be high in demand as WRB or SWP. Boy was I wrong.

Generally the way they do it is if a car is in less demand they won't make it in equal numbers as the rest. Always order the one you really want!

+1. My FRS has been at port since Oct 8 and counting. Still no ETA.

Date Ordered: June 23, 2012 (although they didn't get the allocation until august 3rd so I think that is when my actual "order" went in)

Date Promised: No exact date ever promised. They didn't joke about knowing when it was coming. Their best guess/offer has been "we should see it before the new year and then probably november"

Total days since order: 129 days

I don't mind waiting. I have never been so patient in my entire life. I want it to be delayed until spring since I don't plan on winter driving anyways...however I doubt that will happen.
