If your only getting a catback id agree but for those that plan on adding the catless front pipe/over pipe and header it might be too much for some.

He's probably getting freebies (or reduced prices) for shilling them.

We installed the non resonated cat back last week. It sounds WONDERFUL! It is anything but loud for the sake of loud. Zero drone. Interior noise levels might be marginally higher than stock, but it just sounds like I thought the car should sound from the factory. Nice growl at start up on quick idle. Quites right down as the idle drops to normal and then it just sounds great above 3000 rpm.

I want to believe you, but what happens when your installing a catless front pipe which I intend to do? Im sure with the cats in place, the non res. is very tolerable. But with a catless setup, could it cross over to annoying?

It could, but I haven't heard that config so I don't really know. I had our Perrin Cat Back Non Res sitting next to a Nameless high flow cat BRZ over the weekend and the Nameless system was louder, but by no means was it obnoxious. In fact, I liked it!

I have Dyno proof...the un-resonated makes the same power as resonated...all my sound recordings were done on the same dyno under close to the same conditions. Unfortunately I do not have the print out from the un-resonated dyno run as I didn't think about getting them printed out at the time and I was only there for recording purposes that day, but the final number was the same as the resonated.

Basically...get whichever you prefer sound wise...I personally switched back to the resonated as my GF didn't like the louder noise and the more I drove it the more I felt like "that guy with the obnoxious exhaust." Plus later on when I get the front pipe and over pipe I don't want it to be even louder.

Honestly...get whatever you like, but don't go claiming it makes more power...because it doesn't.

I have the resonated, I would love to swap that pipe with someone with an unresonated. So far my system is very moderate (uncatted midpipe and catback), so I think I'd like to drop the weight and go slightly louder. If interested, PM me

Actually, if any of you plan to run Laguna Seca your stock exhaust will barely pass the decibel limit.

I plan to run MLSR so it's the stock exhaust for me for a while

Weird. With muffler delete you should blow ~85dB at 50ft as people have done this a bit at SCCA events.
