Just got a call from the dealer that the fuel pump just arrived!!! Is it worth it getting it replaced? I heard someone got a CEL after the dealer replaced it.

That's your call. I think the car sounds a little more refined now.

Did they tell you why the CEL light came on? What was the cause of it? Or was there excuse just that you needed a new ECU?

I have read several different threads where immediately after service that the CEL for the camshaft issue is coming on. Do you guys think it may be being caused by the service department not letting the car idle for 5 to 10 minutes after a battery disconnect so that the ecu can reset properly? All of the ECUTek people are told to let it idle after they flash the ecu.

No that shouldn't be necessary. I've reset my ECU and driven the car right afterwards a couple of times now.

I had mine replaced a few hundred miles ago and I think the crickets are back. I was in the drivethru for Taco Bell and I heard very high pitch noises coming from the engine. I'm guessing its the crickets again :|
