Looking at some new wheels

Hey guys I know there are plenty of things out there that show what the wheel look like but I can't find anyone that is running the size wheels that I have found. There is a guy selling a set of XXR 527 18x9.75 20 offset with 225/40r18 tires and am curious if you all think will fit before I drive 4 hours to test fit. I see some people running the 18x8.75 with 20 offset with no problems but would that extra inch width make a huge difference?

Probably not. There's a test fitting of 10" wide 18 offset wheels in the rear and the poke out way to far.

Those wheels aren't that expensive new, better to get proper sizing then save a little money. Those tires are way stretched too I'd pass.

with coilovers, a drop, camber and maybe a bit of fender work they'll fit

otherwise if you have stock suspension its going to poke like crazy and not look good at all (even the 8.75 width you need coilovers imo)

there's a BIG difference between 18x9.5 +40 and 18x9.75 +20
like, poking out an extra inch difference, and this is not taking into account the tire.

That's why I said "close as you can get"... & not "exactly"
