Got my updated tune from John, but with all the RaceROM bugs people are reporting I think I'm going to hold off and just stick with the original tune for now. Honestly having an AT I don't really even care about RaceROM as it currently exists.

Maybe just check with John before you flash back to original tune. I remember him saying a couple pages back, not too flash back to previous tunes ?

I could be wrong though

I believe he didn't want anyone to flash at all until the ECUTek software was straightened out. If the plan is to just stay on the old tune, then that's not an issue.

Noob question - when John sends email with map on it and mentions to flash to stock before updating tune, is this just for prior tuned cars or do I need to flash the stock map then let that sync before using the STG1 map? Thanks!

I'm running John's current AT tune with no problems, map 2 looks to have the AFR gauge and map 3 is fuel level % and mine are working fine.

I think this is the key for the current tune:

Map 1 - Tune + 7400RPM Rev Limiter (STOCK REV LIMITER)
Map 2 - Tune + 8000RPM Rev Limiter in 2nd Gear + Launch Control
Map 3 - Tune + 8000RPM Rev Limiter in 2nd Gear + Launch Control + Flat Foot Shifting + A/F Reading
Map 4 - Tune + 8000RPM Rev Limiter in 2nd Gear + Launch Control + Flat Foot Shifting + Fuel Tank % +AutoBlip

I remember a while back you got the updated stock tune that dealerships are getting, did you ever end up using it in your tune? What was different between the orginal one the car came with and the new one?

Just curious but why is it that only the second gear gets the rpm raised to 8000? Do all the other gears stay at the stock limit of 7400?
