Grey looks great to me with black wheels and big red brake callipers

White is nice, but not sure how it became fun? 9 out of 10 rental cars are white??
Red and Orange are fun.

Nice colour mate, looking good...

A bit confused though....you said classy as f..Ck...ok, so you mean it look like a 80' P.o.r.n? or what? I mean, how can fuck be classy...unless you pick up a chick that is mentally retarded and still lives in the 70's or 80' and bang her...then you could say it was a classic fuck!

Just kiddin...

I was and still am tempted to change the colour to grey...but black it will suit me more i think! i have a dark personality and all, you know.

I was so close to going grey but didn't like how it looked under direct sun. The flakes were so strong/messy. Looks amazing under everything else though.

My JZA70 Supra is almost the same grey as the 86 grey (see below) so I wanted to go with something different for my 86. I am not a big white person but pearl white is a different story. IMO it accentuates the lines far better than the other colours and the grey in particular loses the lines of the car a little. All my opinion obviously. My cousin got grey so i may be pleasantly surprised when i see it IRL.

I was tempted to get grey, but only saw it in bright sunlight & thought it looked mediocre as well

Say trading a black one for a white one.

Im just going to leave this here...
Are you finding the black hard to keep clean? I have been considering changing to black and go for the total blackout look. The All black TRD looked really nice and stealthy. Only problem with white is that it seems to be the majority color. Sometimes its nice to be different.

I think this car looks good in any color but my experiences with red cars in Australian sun means I will never buy a red car (unless its a special purchase) again

Wrap it with vinyl, you can do it yourself to save money. There are tons and tons of DIY wrap videos online and you can purchase perfectly adequate vinyl from China for 2-300$ a car. High quality vinyl might run 500-800 bucks. I ordered vinyl from china, arrived in a week and the quality is very nice.

Opticoat, regular protection and undercover garaging and it'll be fine.

Black is always hard to maintain, I keep mine garaged and it's also opti guarded, so that helps though.

Always loved black cars, but the white with black features is hot.

I don't have an FR-S. I have done the side mirrors on my wife's car and will soon be doing the whole thing, she has a Scion Xa. The side mirrors, because of the complex curve, should be harder than the doors and rear. I guess you could say I'm practicing, but so far it was easy and relatively quick. Im confident a non-professional can do a whole car with just a little practice.
