Man that sucks, really unavoidable and couldnt see it coming.. i got my first ding at Fleet Week here in SF, i watched an old 80s Chevy pickup park beside my car.. good distance on both side, but the passenger was an old man and when he opened the door he had enough room to get out but then he pushed it some more so it was wide open and thats when i saw his door bounce off my car.. my wife and i was lost for words, ruined my Fleet Week experience..

It could be my imagination or paranoia, but I feel like this car has thinner skin than other cars I have or had. It would make sense from a weight standpoint if that were the case...Anyone else feel the same? It's not just me right?

That happened to me a week ago. when I got home i checked the car over and found a 2" dent on the rear left panel over the tire. I took it back to the dealership and they fixed it for free, gave me a free oil change and a car wash.

Don't worry can't be as frustrating as how I got a couple of small things on rear bumper....

I got my first few at about 7500 miles, from my dad who was parking the car in front of our house... and there was only one other car on the whole block. He parked the car already, but then I heard him start up the engine and he decided to move back a couple or more inches. It drifted back more than he expected and I heard a loud crunch from within the house. Ran outside and threw a fit.

How do you bump into another car... in front of our own house.. .when there's only one other car on the whole block... sigh. 3 little dings on my rear bumper from the other cars license plates.

what kinda phantom dealership is this? They are fixing stuff for free outside of warranty?

I have a hard enough time scheduling an oil change with these guys and convincing them that the crickets noise is a real issue and not 'normal'.

I have one because of me. I was putting vinyl sticker on my back windshield, in my stupidity put a little weight from my elbow at the side roof then boom! A ding!!! Right now i have like 2 or 3 thy only i can see.. No one can notice it though but ME! In my head! Was planning to get it fixed but nah.. I'll just take care of it later since it is not noticeable.. Money will just go to mods.. It is painful though!

hahha! I feel like we would get along. There are some awesome high-country dirt roads here in Colorado that are just brilliant to drive on. I always feel like I'm on a rally special stage or something. I will post some videos up soon of my adventures.
