Anyone else's fuel gauge (the needle one) staying put regardless of actual fuel level? I've been staying on map 1, played around with map 2, but stayed out of map 3 and 4 which are the ones John mentioned causing problems with the gauge.

Also, under map 1, after I filled up, the MPG display showed values exceeding 100.0 - is this normal? I think it went up as high as 105 or so. Interestingly enough, the AVG MPG is still doing an average, but of the fuel level value now. So it looks like the averaging functionality isn't overridden, it continues to calculate the average of whatever value is being shown in the MPG field.

Will there be any opportunity in the future for us to request which values we would like to choose from for maps 1-4? I have no need for 0-60 or quarter mile ET - I would rely on the track's gear for that.

If we were able to request a customization of this, my ideal map loadout would be something like:

Map 1 - Stock ECU Settings - normal display
Map 2 - Visconti tuned - normal display - FF/AB/LC features turned OFF
Map 3 - Visconti tuned - Fuel % overriding MPG - FF/AB/LC features turned OFF
Map 4 - Visconti tuned - A/F Ratio - FF/AB/LC features turned ON

I don't mean to sound like one of those condescending LMGTFY guys, but in this case, I think this is actually helpful.

Google "BRZ how-to install ecutek"

I am not trying to flash my ECU nor do I have a problem. I just responded specifically to the comment "it's not tasteful to post it here" and offering an alternative to that for the benefit of people having difficulty flashing their car.

IF I was having problems, google is my best friend but I don't have ECUTek....

Oh and also, I'm usually one of those LMGTFY guys hahaha

Just to note in regards to Jays flashing experience and most others. You all viewed a percentage notification during flash. I did not, I clicked flash ecu, then light on cable went from green to flashing red. Mouse cursor went to busy status and no pop up notification showing percentage complete.
The only way I knew it flashed successfully is I got the pop up notification to turn off ignition and then one to turn back on. After that, a successful flash notification. Done.

Could be that ecutek software is still a little buggy.

The percentage indicator is hard to see unless you're looking for it. it's in the status bar at the very bottom of the window.

Looks good, however if I may make one suggestion. On Map 1 & 2 (or Map 1 at the least) i would suggest leaving the stock rev limiter in all gears. This seems to be more of a "hardcore" option that only benefits 0-60 testing and leaving it stock would help give some people (Or me, at least) a little more peace of mind. Then again, at the end of the day it probably doesn't make a huge difference.

Just my opinion.
