what was the error? what was the full filename of the tune you applied?
As often as I can as in whenever I saw the update button I hit it. I also hit update EcuTek Update button like 7 times before I actually detected the car and tired flashing.

I got the same commuincation error after the flash started got about 9% before I got a error. Now it says the ecu is partly programmed and may need to be flashed again to start.

RR-10826-FF-LL-AB-ZA1J700C-STG1 v1.07-6AC57D.BIN

Thats the file I got from John.

I'm now stuck at work with no moving car lol should of waiting for the in depth video

called John he is out street tuning and I won't hear from him for a couple hours

Yup... filled it out a little earlier, but then started thinking about it and thought maybe I just was looking in the wrong spot for the *.upd file. Thank you everyone for responding, I'm sure it will all get sorted out soon.

looks like you used the right file and are using the most recent version of ecutek. at this point i'd say sit tight and wait for John.

Im pretty sure I did multiple times. I followed the instructions. but forget about the car not registering, im more worried about my license number staying at 0. I forgot to mention before my laptop is BSOD sometimes when I attach my ecutek cable. the computer is not even a week old samsung i7 750gb hdd 8gb ram so its not a crappy laptop. I'm actually in class now dam late night college classes .

Yeah I was being pretty careful after a few guys bricked their cars

I was actually hoping to hear from them to see if the ECU started to flash before the error occurred or not

dude. stop. if your computer is BSOD'ing you do NOT want to risk it having a BSOD mid-flash. That's just asking for a brick.

Yeah, one would think if the file was corrupted to begin with, it wouldn't flash at all

Was it a communication error message ?

Pretty sure Hawaiian and jpit were two of the temp bricks if you want to try them. That's off the top of my head can't remember who else.
