There was somebody running them here, northcalscion or something like that he had these and bronze TSW's. I like those too looks like a little cheaper alternative to KW's.

Honestly i don't know, the Cusco's use the stock upper mounts which i prefer. Coilovers are going to be personal preference and intended use, there isn't really a best its just whatever is best for your application.

Stock top hats are going to keep things a bit more civil for DD use. You can also always upgrade to the Whiteline mounts to get some extra camber and caster when needed.

Cusco makes a great coil and everyone I have ever dealt with on them is happy.

The seals on the Teins aren't as good. Some of the parts are not made in Japan. It's really the seals that keep the valving running smooth.
I know this straight from Cusco when I met them in 2003 in Japan during TAS to work together.
I have had Cusco coilovers on a few of my DD's and the only car that had a slight firmer ride than I wanted was the FD/ RX-7 and the 240sx.

Street coilovers? Aside from some adjustability and bling they will be an overkill. Nice struts and shocks*springs* would do well for you. You can get some higher quality for less coin with that route.

Yes, they are worth the price.

If the OP wants it then it is not overkill, and I never looked at coilovers as bling.
It's the value of what he is willing to pay to get what he wants.
Bottom line is, we pay for the results that we want.

its because im low on cash..i have about 1500-1600 to spend and coilovers was my first choice..so im trying to see what would be good choice for my DD and maybe once or twice a month track runs on the FR-S..
