Just got my Grip Rod custom in the mail! Only took three business days total from order to delivery, though they sent the wrong color. No matter! I ordered a black one with the 86 logo, and got a red one with the logo. I don't mind though, as it looks good as a accent to the red stitching.

On that note, the grip rods DO work with MT reverse lockout collar.

My understanding is that you merely have to specify that it is an auto since the threads are different. I have been trying to get feedback from auto drivers since I was trying to figure out if it is worth the money when you potentially use the shifter less frequently. And what type they have chosen and why.

Of course mine is turned 90 degrees in the wrong direction. Fixed it with some teflon tape.

I feel I'm one of the few that got screwed on the initial group buy. Flossy felt it necessary to modify the picture I sent them because they thought there should be lines where there weren't any. They claim they will contact you for any changes, but they didn't for me. Talked with Chad over the phone and email about getting this resolved. Sent more pictures, talked more about the design, everything seemed promising. I even received an email that my replacement order would ship soon. Two months + later: still haven't received the replacement, no return phone calls (3+) or emails (3+). I have faced the fact that I got screwed on this deal.

I see a lot of y'all got what you wanted and new orders are still rolling out. Wish I would have been so lucky. I just wanted to voice my side so none of you are surprised when flossy does the same to some of you. I waited, gave the several months even, and hoped that they'd eventually make it right. Best of luck to any of you that place an order with them. I hope y'all get what you ordered. $100.00+ down the drain

Like this view? This knob is textured it dissipates the heat so it doesn't get as hot. Its like a textured powder coat.

this is the red head grip tape shorty... if you select the custom engrave option and then send them an email with your order number/your design/ and car type

No fault of yours, I appreciate you getting everything set up. I just wish, now, that I'd gone with the shift pattern + brz so I wouldn't have wasted so much of my time on it. Really like the way everyone else's turned out. I may get a wild hair and start bugging Chad again to give them another chance follow through with their word of fixing this.

Did you use paypal? If so open a dispute. They did almost exactly the same thing to me and I opened a dispute with them. I even gave them extra time and they decided to refund the money instead.

Shorty black arrived today. Went basic with the shift pattern so I could resell one day if needed. Took some teflon tape to get the ball snug without twisting.. Love the weight and shorter throw. Recommended!

Figured I'd post to let y'all know I FINALLY received the new shift knob as promised by Flossy. I really like the look and feel, now, after 3 months of waiting. I must have caught them on a good day, since I've heard that a few of y'all were in the same boat. I have to admit, as much trouble as it took to finally get what I wanted, it was worth the wait.

What is everyone using to create there designs? I am getting the shorty black for sure. As far as a design, I really want to get a big 86 logo with a horizontal piston logo. Screw the H pattern. No need for that as its second nature now.

Just be simple and edit your image in paint. No need to pull out photoshop. You can email it to flossy when you finish it, and they will tell you if it's doable or not

Any default size should I be using for the page, or just standard? Flossy does the rest to size it correctly for the shift knob?
