Hey guys, just an invite if anyone is free next Wednesday the 17th. I will be getting my FRS tuned at Fullblown. I currently have the Ecutek stage1 tune from Visconti, but I have installed some parts they are known to affect the tune and will need some tweaking. And since John is impossible to get a hold of, and if you do, beware, I am going to have a local hero "LJ" take care of me. I know there I will be respected as a customer /rant. Anyways, you are welcome to stop up and hang out. Its at 1:30.

How much are they charging for the tune?

Visconti is going to be losing a lot of business now that many us early adopters are speaking out on just how bad his customer service is.

Stg1 tune is good but from my experience its not worth dealing with Visconti himself.

Did you ever get your tune, or refund from Visconti?

Just the intake. I have the aFe intake that he quoted in his thread "def. needs to be tuned, and I have just the tune for it" he has yet to reply to my PM's and emails about the update. I am going on three weeks now.

Im not sure on cost yet. It's going to depend on how good or bad Visconti's generic tune looks. I think LJ can charge upwards of $100-$150 per hour, but I don't know for a fact.

I did get my tune from him using his loaner cable. It's a great tune and he's definitely good at what he does, personal feelings aside. I'm glad I got it, the car is a different beast now.

I can't wait to do more extensive upgrades while the car is in the garage for the Winter.

Are you a BRZ/FRS owner yet or just considering getting one?

Considering getting one. Just registered on the forum yesterday, but have been lurking for many months.

I have been in the market for a weekend car for a while now, but can't make up my mind.
I keep tossing around the idea of an FRS, S2000, and a SRT-4. Not sure what I want to do yet.

The FRS seems so practical and fun. My brother had an SRT-4 and it was such a fun car that was so fun to cruise around in. I have wanted one ever since.

Next year I will be in a better position to make a decision.

I know at least a couple of the local owners have owned S2000s, and at one traded it in for an FRS. As far as I know no regrets there.

Yeah. I am leaning toward the FRS in regards to the RWD coupe. I like the idea of the hardtop and not having to deal with a convertible.

The FRS and SRT-4 are on completely different ends of the spectrum, I guess I just have to decide what I want out of my weekend fun car.

I am hopefully that by next spring I will have either a FRS or SRT-4.
