Did you have it shipped?

There seems to be a lot in New England. I have 7+ dealers within 30 mins from me. Every time I walk into a dealer around here they have at least one or two in stock in the showroom. It's crazy there are still people waiting for theirs. If I was a millionaire I could have had 20 BRZ's in my garage right now.

Nope, I wrapped it up in painter's tape and drove it 500 miles home.

You got me curious, so I added breakdowns of each color, transmission & trim based on the updated list

Nice, nice. I'm 10 minutes away from that dealer. How did they treat you? I can't decide which one of the 5+ Subaru dealers I'm going to snag my BRZ from in the future.

Did you get away sales tax free? Live free or die, baby.

Did you see the WRX STI Convertible abomination while you we're up here?

As much as I'd love a '14 car, I don't think it'll work out that way, but yeah, I totally agree it's crazy. Check the bottom of this page:

13 months+ wait regardless of trim and color. Ouch.
Count your blessings.

I was treated exceedingly well, I have nothing but good things to say about Manchester Subaru:

-No BS, the price was the price(which was excellent too), no tax
-Quick and efficient paperwork guy
-Joey(my salesman) helped me painter's tape the car for an hour post sale and brought me tools from the shop so I could install my RallyArmor mudflaps
-Joey picked me up from the airport in his car
-Joey made sure it remained in the factory transport wrapping as I requested
-And finally, aside from filling it with 93, Joey locked it down so the car wasn't touched/driven by anyone

Missed the STI vert abortion.
