The stock map sensor works on our 5psi build, so no, no reason to add it to the base kit at this time.

Are there plans to offer a ceramic coated header "option" in the kit? I'm not a fan of wrapping the header on a daily driver.

So people that want to run more boost on the base kit will need to go out and buy a new map sensor? or will you be supplying this options for us.

I want to run around 10psi do you think the base kit could handle this or would I have to look at stage two?

Sorry to badger you even before the kit is released :s

No this will not be a option from the factory. You can request it when you order the kit from AVO USA, Australia ect. They will need to ship the manifold out to a local ceramic coating company to have it coated before we ship you the kit.

We are working with ECUTEK to increase the limit on the stock map sensor from 5 PSI to 7 PSI. Also we are looking in to a higher pressure map sensor for the future upgrades.

The Stage 1 kit ECUTECK Map data will be for a 5 PSi Tune on 91 Fuel

In the future there will be different levels off tunes with option parts, Power filter Carbon air box Ect.

Every day ECUTEK is improving the software so we have more control over the ECU. My target is to have the car run like it was tuned from the factory with tuned Toque and Power and Reliability.

I will be in USA to check the tune on the AVO USA's FRS from the 24th. We plan to do 3000 miles on the road from Seattle to LA then to SEMA then After SEMA back through Utah. Full throttle tuning on a DYNO is only a small part off the tune going from NA to turbo Close loop to Open loop on those Vegas hills to Utah at 90f make,s a good place to get a good tune.

Regards Ross Wilson

If anyone wants ceramic coating, let me know. I have a very good friend, whom if I took multiple parts up to him, he would only charge me 5-10% over cost to have it done

AVO correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like California people are the only ones that won't need an extra tune after the kit is installed since the map is made for 91 Oct.

Question @AVOturboworld @AVOTurboworldJapan, will your included ECUTek flash include all the RaceRom features of ECUTek, like flat foot shifting, Launch Control ETC?

Also, will we be able to purchse the ECUTek license and cable through you?

Also, it would be nice if you guys consider for the Stage 1 tune at least for the USA kits to have an option for 93 (even if as an upgrade $$), because most everyone in USA has 93 accessible (California aside of course), and I would be happy with your initial numbers, and would rather pay you guys to fine tune for 93 than getting a local tuners give me a whole new different tune than yours.

Thanks for the update Ross... stoked to hear that. Will you do an AU tune for bp98 and will you guys provide free updates for new ecutek features/factory ecu updates?

My original plan was getting the local ecutek suby shop to tune it, hopefully with e85 flex sensor if its supported eventually but I guess even if your tune is for 91 it will include the cable and license?

Sounds like you will have to pay extra for the license at cable. If you have those two items already, then AVO will just send you the base map that is included.
