Okay yesterday I took a video of the grinding sound that my car makes when it's lugging, but you pretty much cannot hear it at all...I'm not even going to bother posting it to Spyderchat because the guys there are going to hear my 2300rpm shift and scream "YOU ARE LUGGING THE ENGINE" and "GROW A PAIR OF BALLS, THIS ENGINE IS MEANT TO REV" (yea that explains the 6700rpm rev limit, toothpick rods, and 91.5mm stroke right?)

It's uploading to Youtube, will be up in a few minutes.

However, the good news is that this morning I pulled the PCV hose and had my engine drink a few cups of water (people on bobistheoilguy seem to think this is the best method?). Misfired and spouted tons of smoke for a while, but after it stopped misfiring I took it for a little drive...lo and behold, the noise is gone! The car shakes if I intentionally lug it, as it should, but no more noise. It was still spewing smoke when I pulled into the driveway, so it's probably still clearing some stuff out.

So happy to have a noise free car now ECU still can't make up its mind about idle rpm but oh well, not a big deal.
I'm glad you got it cleared up. Hopefully you're mileage will get better now to.

Done!! Finally. I still need to over seed the septic field to get that growing nicely and the brown you can see in the sod is just soil from loading and transporting the sods.

Edit: In case anyone else is wondering, no that's not an outhouse in the back, it's a shed, roughly 8x10.

Here's my random thought of the day:

Why do people lower the volume of the radio while trying to find the address of their destination or when trying to parallel park?

How does lowering the radio volume help with parking & finding a house?
