Yeah I could see that going south quickly. I'd probably be the one to incite it

Tons of LED lights and and painted odds and ends. We have a whole section dedicated to just that. I cant believe how much people care about changing a light bulb.

I'm Vietnamese. Not my style but it might appear unappealing to some may be quite the opposite for others, to each his own. They did it for them not for you. You don't have to like what they like. You can't please everybody. Don't need to hate on them or their car. This isn't the worst thing to do to. I saw many people do dumb stuff to their car.

  • Walmart chrome license brackets with cheesy Harley Davidson style 'flame' design
  • Brown alligator leather steering wrap
  • White fur seats (Both) like they just finished skinning a polar bear
  • Chrome purple shift knob (automatic)
  • Two furry dices dangling on the mirror
  • Mismatched odd size rubber seals across every dividing gap of the car. It makes every panel of the car look defective/melted
  • Car is just screaming with cheap O'Reilly, Checkers, Walmart parts.

my face when I saw it

I'm not picking on vietnamese people (so dont take it the wrong way) but... it's the first time ever that I felt like not associating myself with another FR-S owner.

While i agree that you cant please everyone and that it's the owner's car and no one else's, there comes a point when you gotta draw a line. im asian as well, when i see some asian kids in their tiburon/civic/integra with underglow or rice parts, i have no choice but to shake my head. this should have nothing to do with nationality/race.. it's more about taste. spend 25k+ on a car yet buy a bunch of cheapo parts or lack the attention to detail to make things look tasteful. they are presenting themselves to the public in a certain manner in which they expect to be noticed.

how about an asian guy with a du rag and mid 90's gansgta chains and jnco jeans who keeps saying the n word? to them it's cool. but to me.... meh. but to each his own, as you mentioned.

Maybe those kids shouldn't buy a 25k car then. If they really want to mod a car they should all buy used. I blame this all on the parents.

Yea some people rice out their car because they think it's cool. In a few years FR-S gonna be riced out by these kids. They gonna slap some stickers and neon and drive like they are in Fast & Furious. Other night I saw this black dude in a beat up 90s Mustang with neon and big ugly ass rims like 30". It looks so stupid like a tractor.
