Yeah I hit up Lutons and they wanted $1200. Told them I got sent by you but they said it's just too big of a job because they'll need to pretty much rip out the right side of the car.

Lutons does great work but I guess to do it right without corner cutting it cost more. If I pranged my Porsche it would definitely go there

Get a paint pen, Paint it so there is no bare metal and just wait for someone to side swipe you.

I've used that strategy before haha..

My paint was cracking and peeling badly on the rear bumper of my old car.. few months later.. BANG.. new bumper + paint job. Worked out pretty well!

UPDATE 1: Repairs have begun. First day buffing and filling.

This is the only part of the scratch you can really see anymore. They buffed out half the keying. The other part was waaaaay too deep.

Aaaaand the car's fixed!

It's completely clean. can't even tell that there's been any kind of damage or repairs.

HOWEVERRRRRRR....

Now the drivers side smart key doesn't work anymore. Doors don't lock if I put my thumb on the sensor and the sensor doesn't unlock the doors.

Hopefully an easy fix. Maybe they unplugged the sensor? Are you going to take it Toyota, or try fix it yourself?
