And perhaps you should read Giccin's comments earlier.
Ham's right, you're irresponsible and reckless. Turn in your mod badge, now.

I have to admit, I saw his post admitting guilt, and then carefully read the entire page. Otherwise I would have said something similar to Guff. :P

Kids trying to drift on the street without ever having driven a RWD car or knowing how to counter steer properly is my guess. Trying to drift on the street is stupid enough but doing so without any experience is so stupid words can hardly describe.

I mostly owned 2wd pickups, heap of torque and no weight on the rear wheel, my car feel glued to the road compared to what I'm used to. A 4.3 S-10 will teach you a healthy respect for that right hand pedal.

Youth and inexperience is likely the cause, maybe if we actually taught our kids to drive this would happen less.

Clearly, his accelerator peddle got stuck down Prius-style, ergo, he crashed into the building.

Last week for the first time I turned all nannies full off, and got ready for some wildness. Nothing. Stop sign, 90 degree turn - give it some gas and slip that clutch... nothing. After a few attempts I gave up and turned the nannies back on. I've gotten the car more sideways and more wheel spin with nannies full on!

How are people wrecking these things? Dumping the clutch? Driving way too fast through a turn and then not knowing what to do when the back starts to come around?

Only time I've really gotten the car into a drift/spin is making a u-turn at a light in sport mode, on a fresh smooth road. Locked the steering full left and gave a good launch. Back came around 1/3 into the turn - I give it a slight bit of opposite steering and reduce throttle input. Perfect 180 at low speed. Very easy to control. Then again I've been driving RWD cars and pickups for 20 years...

I also think that silver might show off the lines of the car much better.

It would have been awesome to have a video of this with the Dukes of Hazard horn playing as it jumped the curb!
