I think they are available in both a kit and RTR form and should be coming out in Nov.
  • Kit you'll have to build and have to provide your own electronics (batteries, RC Transmitter/Receiver and Servo for steering).
  • RTR should be good to go out the box you'll probably just needs some AA's for the transmitter.

1/10 Subaru BRZ (TT-01 Type-E)
Item No:58545
Kit: http://www.hlj.com/product/TAM58545 $120USD
RTR: http://www.hlj.com/product/TAM57848 $230USD
1/10 Subaru BRZ R&D Sport (TT-01 Type-E)
Item No:58543
Kit: http://www.hlj.com/product/TAM58543 $130USD
RTR: http://www.hlj.com/product/TAM57846 $260USD
There's also one with a "professional" chassis due out in Dec

This is completely coincidental, and yes, a shameless plug, but hopefully not OT. Our shirt for sale this week is inspired by the FT86/BRZ/FR-S and our fond memories of reading our Tamiya instructions as a kid.

More info on this thread.

Any idea what the difference is between professional and regular?

I don't really know much about either.. I do know the TA06 needs and ESC while the TT01 comes with one.

I'm getting the TT01 myself since it's cheaper and I'll prob just mess around with it in the driveway/street in front of my house.

Exactly. Because the real deal is 2570mm.

TA06 is belt driven. TT01 is shaft driven.
TA06 comes stock with a couple additional adjustments (droop, toe) and costs nearly double. Both have lots of upgrade support and can keep pace with much more expensive cars, if setup well and driven with passion!

Here is the build we are working on... Link.

Has anybody picked up a BRZ kit yet? Once we finish our FRS, we are going to pick up the Subie body...

Do you know if the instructions will be in English for these cars? I'm really interested in that STI model.
