Did I mention you guys get FREE training. Most people don't realize there a art to washing your car, yes I it's a art.

Windows and Wheels will teach you how to care for your baby after we finish our job, so you can keep the shine we leave on it without scratching it ( A lot of people don't know there doing this while washing and drying).

All the towels, buckets, grit guards, acceptable wash media and chemicals you'll need.

You'll learn to say no to free washes from the dealership and why brushes at the $2 coin-op are bad.

Just so I can de-myth people on the costs of polishing. Just materials....

Flex Rotary Polisher $400
D/A Polisher $150
Pads $150 (<- We need a assortment, about 5 each of 5 different types)
Polishes $350 - 500 (We use only the best, Menzerna from Germany)
Posi-tector Paint Gauge, mine costs around $1200........
Misc. (Pad Cleaner, masking tape, q-tips...just know its miscellaneous stuff) $25 per detail.

And don't forget Windows and Wheels is a 2 person team, so the labour to for two people.....but as you can see we already went over the what we charge.

Please feel free to check my prices with fellow sponsor DetailersDomain (Your #1 choice in detailing products)
No need to do so cause my grandfather has probably been painting detailing cars longer than you have even taken your first breathe (no offense)... I already know about what that buffer can do which is what I was telling others after I mentioned it. He knows what he's doing... Yes it's a scary buffer but it makes your paint shine like a mofo!!! He has done multiple cars for buddies who had overspray all over there car and has made it perfectly shine and smooth like cutting into warm butter. 2nd thing with his buffer is that all you need is a good thing of wax and your good to go... I don't know why you have to use all these other things and this and that when if we do it all we do is throw some wax on that sucker and he lets the buffer do the job.... I have done it with him so please stop telling others that you need this and that and it cost this much when in reality it doesn't.....

Hey thanks for the clarification. You see guys all you need is a wax and a polisher.

Could you just upload a picture your grandfather buffed, preferably black and in direct sunlight. I have a strange fetish for looking at shiny car.

Also let me correct you also.... It won't just take off clear coat it will burn thru all paint till the actual frame... And another thing that you stumped me on is why do you need 5 diff pads when, hahah, he only used one and actually that one pad can be washed and he uses a tool after about 10 minutes of buffing to take all the shit out of the pad? I saw all the pics you have posted and it came out just the same or even better? Is this why you have to call the detail police ? I never ones had issues with clear/paint coat on my older cars or friends cars that he has done or even any car he had buffed after painting??? I mean I'm not trying to put you on blast but from what you have stated its kinda frustrating cause I bet if I let him read what you wrote he would laugh and maybe correct you on some things... I know you are gonna say things for people to come to you but when I see the same results on just using good wax, it's difficult to see others that I personally know be a little ripped off.... Now if you wanna say you get training from it also, that means people have to buy what you have posted and from the costs you have posted I wouldn't give two cents about training....

Well it's not a physical entity, but please feel free to contact Optimum Polymer Technologies and ask them for Windows and Wheels. A direct contact would be Chris@optimumforums.org

After I do my touch up paint could you ask your grandfather how much he would charge to buff it and blend it? I would try it myself but I don't have the experience or confidence to make it look right

Please give us a break. $400-$50(gas on avg.)-$50 materials= $300/2( split profit for each Detailer) = $150 a day per person (6 hours of work, 1~1.5 hr travel time each way, 1 hr set up and clean up time)

Trust me were not rolling in it, just trying to pay the bills and live life
