Being 9.5" wide, they are full concave.

Not trying to be a jerk, serious questions.
Why buy wheels that are 2.5 inches wider than stock then fit tyres only 0.3 inches wider than stock?
Is the car even drivable like that, what happens when you hit a bump?

Finally someone fitted the +30's...what did you do besides just fit the tires and wheels? I was under the impression guards would need to be rolled? This makes me happy

It looks better and allows you to stay legal (most states measure contact patch width). Yes. As long as they aren't shitty rims it has to be a major bump to do damage, just watch out for those steel cover plates.

Bumps are fine, not much difference to stock rims.

@ Palmy, I also went this setup as per the photos of the blue FT86. I based my decision on that vehicle.

@ oddworlds, see what happens in relation to rolling guards when I lower it with coilovers.

Mind providing some sources for your information?
Not legal in NSW,
http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/downloads/vsi/vsi09_rev4.pdf
Victoria,
http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/NR/rdonlyres/CC48FC10-4D57-4F04-82E1-3BD72EF88340/0/VSI8.pdf
Queensland,

or South Australia
http://www.sa.gov.au/subject/Transport,+travel+and+motoring/Motoring/Vehicles+and+registration/Vehicle+standards+and+modifications/Wheels+and+tyres

Also none of these states measure by contact patch.

I more worried about suspension travel and the wheels destroying the fenders.

So the suspension travel is less than the distance between the tyre and the fender?

lol Im just trolling bro!
The only reason you'd do this is because you think it looks cool, I just think its funny when people try to justify it with reasons other than thinking it looks cool.
I only jumped on nix's case cause saying things like "most states go by contact patch" when they dont just adds confusion.

I do seriously want to know if they'll damage the fenders though, just by the look of it I'd say a decent bump will trash them. What is the suspension travel on the stock setup?

Definitely looks nice, I wouldn't want it cause I track the car, but congrats and hope it comes out like you expect!
