the outside is painted. just your typical painters blue masking tape will do. it's pretty easy to eye up, since the chrome inside is sort of the same shape.

Sexy. I find it funny though that over the years most people wanted the clear lens and now most people want the red and white style. But still very sexy lights.

agree. the manufacturers need to just go back to basic style lights. nodoby wants the original lexus IS tails.

you can wetsand if you want, over the clear. a few imperfections landed in my clear, but it doesn't bother me and you don't notice them. they are smooth.

Can you tell me where you got that specific paint?

you can buy it from amazon, but autozone is the only other place i know that stocks it - they stock a lot of duplicolor products.

stealth bulbs meaning clear lens? agree, i'll get around to that. i plan on dropping some PIAA bulbs in the headlights and some kind of LED replacement for the rears.
