Seems the fine young people of this forum are not familiar with the ricer phenomenon. If you want to see more, look in google images for "ricer". But don't blame me if it makes your eyes hurt

Exactly my thought too...The more they produce, the more generic copycrap will show up. Keep it simple and for the Enthusiast...

What are these "deals" you speak of? Do you work for a local Toyota/Scion dealership? Been waiting for my FRS for 2 months, if you can find one quick I'm all ears.

How do you get deals on any scion? Their pure pricing setup doesn't allow for any "deal" making

My thoughts exactly, have yet to find anyone willing to move off the "pure price". Especially as it pertains to this car, as rare as they are around here still they have no need to negotiate, someone will pay the asking price.

Solution: Make them give you MORE for your trade-in.

Oh yeah, and wait until the car isn't in insane demand as well.

Problem is they can't give you more then your car is worth or what they can sell it for. If they do and they get audited they're screwed

Shop around, go end of the month when they are more desperate and plus take off the $299 iGlobal fee, you don't need it, that's what INS is for

No trade in involved in my deal, selling my car privately for that reason.

I wasn't complaining either, understand that if I want a high demand car I'm going to pay more than if they were sitting on every lot unsold. This part of the discussion started because someone mentioned "deals" on them and curiousity got the better of me. If you can't afford the car, don't buy it, simple as that.

Really off topic though I guess since has no real bearing on sales numbers.
