GOOD NEWS!
The ECU came in the mail today, and I threw it in the car. Everything is 100%. So, if some of you were concerned with bricking, I'm living proof. The removal, and reinstall is easy (I'll post a DIY later tonight), and EcuTek can fix it. The turn around was 6 days counting a saturday and sunday. If it happened on monday I'm sure it would have been back by friday.

Bad timing, I'm in Cali but the BRZ is still in the shop until Friday, work is over for me early today so I would be driving to LAX immediately if the body shop wasn't still installing the rear bumper...FML! Yes, I realize it's a 4.5 hour drive, but F it!!
Glad your ECU is back to its original state, Hawaiian. John to the rescue, that is some quick turnaround time... |

 Got the filter, got the tune, got the plate holder but seem to be missing something  And was told yesterday it may be February before I get it - but the wait will be worth it! I am having to keep away from the 86 so I don't get withdrawal symptoms!!! |
