I picked Motul on mine, so far so good. If you can wait to have it shipped No Limit Motorsport has excellent prices on Motul.

mobil one extended performance. I read that royal purple has stuff in it that is more suitable for gear oil than motor oil but what do I know. I have used mobil 1 for the last 60 K in my Solara and internally its clean, as in, nearly new kinda clean.

NAPA Synthetic. Meets API and ISLAC requirements. $3.49 a quart when they have it on sale, which is fairly frequently.

I would stick with the Motul or go for the Eneos 0w20 if you want something a little cheaper. Motul was recommended to me by Crawford Performance, they know Boxer engines pretty well so i have faith in their recommendation.

Haha, this will be hotly debated to which brand to use.

I'm sure all of those brands are good. Consider some of these questions

+ How often are you planning to change your oil?
+ How much are you willing to pay?
+ Will you wait for oil to ship to you?
+ Do you want to switch oils or stick with a brand?
+ From there, consider your source, will they be around to sell you oil?

I use Amsoil signature myself. I want to change my oil about 3 times a year. I pay like $8.50 a quart after shipping. Now taking the filter into play it's about 60 dollars per oil change, so 180 per year. This is acceptable to me.

Amsoil/Motul isn't sold locally to me. I'd like to stick to a brand if possible so that influenced me to order from Amsoil directly. I'm confident they won't go under in 10 years. I don't mind waiting for oil cause I can plan out when I will need it, plus when I do order, I get a case at a time, which is good for 2 oil changes.
