I am a fan of the more smiley cars, not the Mazda 3 but this isn't too bad... ok maybe its alittle like a lunatic...like the post above said, looks like a genesis and a wrx love child ...very subjective to taste. they're a G37 in there too

So I did a little digging, and the above rendering is from February. A closer look confirms that it's based on the Mk. I. Given that, I wouldn't expect the final product to look that much different from the Toyota/Scion version.

indeed

at this point I'm hoping for a more than a badge change between the Toyota and Subaru

I can't help but get the feeling of them being the exact same but with different badges

I really hope that that's not the case

eitherway I hope to have both versions in my garage in the near future

My prediction of the differences (besides badges):

Wheels/Tires
Minor front and rear fascia differences
Option Packages
Interior Trim (though I expect the general design to be similar)
Suspension Tune(?)
Price

That would be nice, but I'm guessing we'll see the WRX seats as seen in the spy shots.

I think either the seats will be unique for both the subie and scion OR they both have wrx seats.

I hope seat will be just lil bit lighter than WRX seats. They're comfy, but they're not light.

I hope they hit the target weight with seats like the wrx seats. That way more weight can be saved later.
