Didn't your post contain an office space photo, a photo of an intake you're working on, and no conversation even being remotely related the the ECU?

The same thing happened to other people with Visconti tunes as well i don't care what the deal is i wouldn't wish anybody's ECU to get locked up.

Yes it did as matter fact and i had posted on here about the intake and some people were interested in what it would look like and the custom vtuned sticker decal i was trying to create. to me thats car stuff! Nobody wanted to come into this thread reading 30posts of arguing just to get 1 post of car related things

That was unfortunate and i dont know who locked his ecu up but if he was being patient and waited like he was told to wait since he was told several times it was not ready he probably would have been good driving his car around.

There were 2 other members here that tuned before they were told to wait that locked theirs up too. all three of them were done before anybody was told not to tune.

I flashed my car back to 93 last week, didn't have an issue. I'm still hazy on what the issue is exactly....

Ok like i said thats unfortunate it could happen to anybody and those people i feel bad for but john took care of them and made things happen...what im saying is that he was so thirsty for his tune that it backfired on him. The same tune was tested on my car if im not mistake 10 times and my car is driving.

John is working on the patch lets hope someone met up with him and hes testing and it works so we can get this tune back on the road again! Going to paint my intake soon and hopefully when john is back in town he can check out the stuff for me make sure everything is flowing right and hopefully custom vtune decal makes its way to my house in a timely fashion

Ditto. Been clicking NO on the update prompt though that's for damn sure. Need to flash back to gas for a dealer trip in the next few days. Guessing with racerom or a bad update to the compiling software itself?

My last employer was Microsoft, so I will actually be testing it in several versions of Windows OS before reporting back...

we do not want this to happen again to anyone

wished I had clicked NO on that update prompt but Someone had to do it, now, better my car than yours....
Ahhh, gotcha. Yea I haven't updated the flashing software since the middle of September.

Alright

I refunded this guy.

I had to - his non stop emails to EcuTek was a complete distraction and basically took away resources that EcuTek needed on more important stuff.. like tuning stuff.

So now this guy can go back and well, I wont repeat what other vendors tell me.
