This. I have nothing against black housing on projector headlights as long as it doesn't interfere with any reflectors, I think it looks really slick on lots of cars.

Blackout vinyl/spray on the lenses is illegal and dangerous, especially on a car like ours where the only rear deflectors are actually part of the taillight.

Some kid I met before, has a brand new white Genesis coupe. Herrafrushed, tires sunken into the fenders. Seems like it's going strong

OIC! Yeah, that shit is ugly. I don't mind the smoked tails on dubs and Bimmers but when it's tinted or not sprayed correctly, it's weak. The only reason why I don't mind the hellaflush is b/c I've seen a lot of them and they are on air ride suspension.

Keep in the mind that the whole air tank, air bag suspension has progressed that now your car no longer sounds like a tire repair shop and some of the setups actually have decent handling.

Personally, I wouldn't do that to my car. I wouldn't even get a wheel/tire combo that would require me to roll my fenders and I grew up during the whole slammed VW bug and Mini-Trucking scene.

Um? Don't our stock headlights basically count as "Altezza" lights? Just saying...

Hellaflush is just one style, and it looks good. So does making a square setup track car. It's better that people are trying to do different styles. You don't want every single car to be identical to the next. Let everyone do what they want. It's their car and their choice.

My FR-S is purely track oriented at this point. I'm on a moderate drop on coils, I still have some gap. My wheels are 18x8 square. The car is what it is. My WRX though? I'm totally making that an STI wagon stance thing on cups. I don't want to, and never will track that car. It's just not as much fun as my FR-S. It's my "Getting around town" car, and it'll be whatever it ends up being.

The only style I'm not into personally is bone stock. Make it yours. Do what you want to it to make it fit what you want.

PS this car is pure sexy:

No, but our taillights do, and they is a considerable amount of contempt for them in the community. I for one have plans to axe mine.

While I agree with the point of this post (I don't like hellaflush, but I'm cool with people having their own style), I think you need to re-take biology.

I think I've only seen 1 air suspension'd herra frush car. The rest are all rolled fenders and some coilovers.

I also just reread my comment and what I meant was... there's a handful of my friends who are in the herrafrush scene.

Yeah, it's still very much alive, but I'm not seeing as much of them, or at least the hype for hella flush isn't as great as it was a few years ago... Lately I've been seeing a more thick and meaty sidewall for function on the track more than anything else lately, but that seems like it might be fading away as well.

Back on topic since you nerds like to get politically correct with a sarcastic joke!

One of our club members just posted his car and it has received a lot of love.
