I finally heard it and it sounds like the tension pully to me I took it to avondale Toyota they thought the same thing but are going to change the fuel pump first because of the tsb

Its the prep that I want done perfectly. Since I have the tiny spider web scratches in my paint I want those removed as much as possible.

I stopped off at Airpark Auto Detailing today to speak with the owner.

They say they have a similar product but would happy to apply whatever product we had. He was interested in learning more about the opti-coat. He said they charge $175 for their service which includes a 3M 3 step polishing process. He said that process should remove about 80-90% of my scratches.

He said if we get around 8 cars they could take off another 10%. The price still seems pretty damn good considering others on the forum are paying $350. He said they could take of another $25 if I wanted to isntall the coating myself and just have them do the prep.

Anyone else recommend a good body shop that could do the prep?

Here is a good review on the opti-coat. The video of him drying his car with a hose is pretty crazy.

So wait, if I buy some opticoat from amazon for 60$+shipping, take it and my relatively clean car to that detail shop, they will polish my car and apply the opticoat all for $175?!
