When I saw the first pic of the passenger's side of the 12C, I was feeling bad for the guy and mentally tabulating the $$ for repair.

Then I saw the driver's side. I don't have enough room in my mental calculator for that.

That's a video I want to see, but will be hard to watch.

Based on the McLaren driver's attitude, description of how and where the accident happened, and the visible damage location on the BRZ, it's clearly obvious the BRZ got dive bombed and clipped in the door.

His statement is hilarious... "Me? Reckless? I don't know about others but I haven't seen any reckless driver driving a 250K car on the track. I have over 7 yrs experience and I have never pushed any of my cars more than 7/10."

Really? I'm pretty sure most people who think and act they are super heroes with complete disregard for track etiquette, common sense, and general poor attitude are those with more money than they know what to do with and have a general disregard for their, and other's equipment.

Sucks to see the crawford car all banged up, but that looks pretty easy to buff out in comparison to the balled up MP12-4C... also an indication of a driver's ability to react. I fail to see how someone causes an accident with their door.

def sounds like the mclarens fault. i'm pretty sure quirt and their brz wouldn't be on the track hot headed as they test their turbo kit and the car itself.

Yes it true look up 86fest it has the pictures of the McLaren completely torn to shit. The **** head in the McLaren was trying to pass the FRS/BRZ when he shouldnt have and completely destroyed his car. The person driving the Crawford car was ok.

yeah looks like the McCrashin tried to turn down into the corner when he wasn't fully past the BRZ. Probably underestimated the BRZs speed or just decided to try to "Take" the racing line. Not too smart when your having fun with street cars.

Hah, anyone notice that the McLaren driver's Youtube videos have all been made private all of a sudden? Since, you know, he's not a reckless driver and all..

McLaren MP4 vs Crawford BRZ crash

Here is the article of the crash that took place at California's Auto Club Speedway in Fontana where 86Fest was held. Apparently it was BRZ's fault. Not what I heard from the drive.

http://jalopnik.com/5949834/mclaren-...=recirculation

on the update it says that Kim said it was the BRZ's fault but he was the driver of the McLaren so I can see why he would say that.

Wow, super interesting read. Sounds like the MP4 owner is a super huge douche:

"In the early morning the McLaren arrived with a Ferrari 458 hauling ass in a 25MPH zone through the Auto Club Speedway complex passing on the opposite lane cutting off Subaru of America's Puma Rallycross Team's big rig right before the tunnel. During this bone head move the McLaren came inches away from hitting the tunnel that runs under the track."
