A fun little loop I'd like some feedback on is West Lilac east of the 15 to Couser Canyon to the 76 to Palomar to Mesa Grande and back.

I want to know how well the FR-S handles the bumps on Couser as well as if it's able to rotate well enough to have fun on Mesa Grande. Don't forget the relatively-high-speed stuff on the east grade of Palomar.

Anyone willing to suffer the pain of driving some of San Diego's best twisties in the name of journalism?

There's a ton of great canyon roads out here in San Diego. I've only taken them on my bike but I can't imagine they wouldn't be fun in cars as well. Added bonus if we get up early enough and catch breakfast at one of the cafes along the way.

Of course there's Palomar Mtn road (south and east grades) and Mesa Grande as well if you want some really tight corners.
highland valley road is a really fun road.

i found a road that is super fun... take 8 east and exit harbison canyon rd. then take a left on Dehesa rd then merge right on to Japatul rd, then stay left as it turns into Japatul valley rd. from there it leads right back to the 8... whi0ch you could then turn back and take the 8 or continue straight which it then turns int the 79 and lead you right back into Julian.

for me this is a sweet loop as i live in poway.

edit: here is a google maps of what im talking about...

Doc at the hospital said we would likely die. Well anyway have fun but don't go crazy shit happens.
I did say it was a dangerous driving road. I've done it a few times and have to admit, its not an easy road to drive fast AND safe.
