Hi Everyone,
Just signed up with the forum. On the online tracking page I'm getting "Your vehicle can not be displayed at this time. Please contact your dealer for assistance".

Dealer advises that nothing will be displayed until the car is confirmed for production, current guesstimate is January. Has anyone else seen this message?

For the record I ordered a Tornado Grey GTS auto on the 21st July.

Hi mate, welcome to the forum.
I ordered MT GTS on 17th July, and my tracking from the start says "Production month: to be confirmed". Not sure why you are getting that message.
I think if you call TMCA they can give you an estimate production month.
Hope that helps.

If you don't mind me asking where did you order from? I'm in a similar position.

Your Dealer should have set this up for you. Ring them and ask for the 'Order number' and also the 'stock number' - the Dealer should set it up and then pass that info on to you

For the record, once you get it, it appears to be about 2 weeks or so behind the Official Toyota records

I ordered 2 July, 'production' has been pushed back month by month from October to now JANUARY!! And still NO confrimation that it will happen in January. For the record in July the 'wait' time being quoted for a GTS was 18 months plus unless you get very lucky!

Good luck!

Hey guys, I know this has been mentioned before but trolling through 45 pages I still can't find what I need.

The question is once the order status changes to "in production", approximately how long after that until the vehicle is ready for pickup from the dealership. Is it 4 weeks, 6weeks, 8 weeks etc?

How bad is this! I ordered my GTS 86 on 11 July and I have been requesting a delivery date.... even which quarter next year would do. Just had this response from my Dealer stating "I would expect to start getting more accurate dates and details regarding delivery time frames from Feb 2013".

So 8 months it takes Toyota to sort out vehicle allocation for Australia.......

Sent this email to Toyota;

Dear Toyota,

No doubt you have received many complains about 86 delivery times. I understand that there is a long wait for delivery, however it has now been 4 months since ordering my GTS 86 and I still have not received any indication when the car will be delivered. In fact you can’t even tell me which quarter in 2013 it will be delivered.

I have to state that after experiencing Toyota’s poor level of customer service and poor product management I would find it very hard to recommend Toyota to my company employees or friends.

Also please don’t respond to this email with your usual “customer service line” as per your email below.

Over bad service.....

So do you have online tracking? If not, then I'd suggest your order is not with Toyota (or your dealer hasn't given it to you).

If that's the case - the issue isn't with Toyota, but your dealer.

I can see your frustration but will direct you to page 6 of this topic, refer 'letter' from Scott Thompson Toyota stating delivery for the GTS would be around 18 months or more - that was dated 10 July

I'm in the same boat Andrew, I ordered my GT on 2 July and that 'letter' says delivery on the GT 2/3 months! Mine has now blown out to January and that is NOT confirmed but I will wait!

I will say again, the 'tracking' available to the customer runs about 2 weeks or more BEHIND the actual one used by Toyota and its Dealer network

A lady I work with ordered I would say the same day as you, she was told that same day by the Dealership delivery would be 18 months or more

I love the anger that is still coming from this...

They have let us know quite a while ago that the car is in very high demand and that there is a very large wait time. Occasionally there are a lucky few that get in.
Subaru's version of the system is slightly better, but still it has the same problem. Demand>>>>Supply.

I called my dealer a month after ordering, in which he told me he can only sort of guarantee a June next year delivery. I ordered 23rd June for a GTS. Just put the damn car in the back of your head and you'll get it when you get it, or get another car. There is no point being bitchy and pushy to your dealer or to Toyota's Customer service reps. They didn't make the decision on Australia's allocation.

As a consumer I dont give a fuck about the distinction between TMCA and Toyota dealers, it's all Toyota to me. What reflects poorly on one refects poorly on all.

When my dealer promises to deliver me a car in september I expect them to deliver a car to me in september, not to fuck me around and extend the wait by a month every month.

June 5th order, Grey GTS MT, orginaly delivery date: */9/12, latest delivery date: 6/12/12

I'm having trouble logging in to mine, just want to confirm that people have similar digit numbers and i'm doing everything right?

https://webapps.toyota.com.au/apps/cwt/
My "batch" number is a 7 digit number, and goes in the "password" section, and the "Retail Sales Order" number is also a 7 digit number that goes in the "usercode" section?

Does that sound correct?

Edit: I was only told on Friday that it was set for production, would there be waiting time before it's available in online tracking?
